Concrete Slab Placed Today
February 17, 2012
Today the contractor is placing the concrete slab for the west auditorium expansion. The slab is 5" thick on the floor and 12" thick at the exterior perimeter. The forms will come off next week, and we will begin seeing structural steel (one of our favorite sights!) erected within 7-10 days from now. Keep praying for guidance, wisdom, and provision!
Footings
February 7, 2012
Today we'll see 220 yards of concrete pumped into the various footings that serve as the foundation of the auditorium expansion. After 6 weeks of demolition and utility connections, it's good to have building materials on-site and observe forward progress.
